Nothing wrong with …
Nothing wrong with salsa or hip hop. But with St. Patty’s day upon us I want to teach them this. To teach my students every type of dance I can, opens the world to them. Could you please tell me the names of the songs.

well, maybe for a …
well, maybe for a twentysomething, gymrat or irish step dancer…but, for us old ladies, who don’t want to work out to hip hop or salsa, or “remember to breathe”, this is great. Real women, real bodies. Something I can do and enjoy.

I love this concept …
I love this concept. I am in my 30’s but have osteoperosis from the depo shot. I had 2 very bad breaks in my leg last year & can’t do alot of the normal excercises or dances anymore. This is perfect for people like me because it’s low impact yet fun. Plus I get to hear beautiful music & not the horrid stuff with vulgar lyrics that they call music now.

The Jig isn´t sassy at all, the title is “Irish Washerwomans” the Reel contains “Mairie’s Wedding”

Well, if you …
Well, if you haven’t been laughing at a ceili, maybe you need to get a life! And if you can read, this isn’t Irish dancing, it is aerobics. Not everyone can be the elitist Irish dancer - and I have been a student of “real” dancing all my life.

these people should …
these people should really get a life as this is nothing at all to do with irish dancing except for the music. this is how things get a bad reputation u wouldnt even get up at a ceili to do that people would have a laugh

I agree. Irish step …
I agree. Irish step dancing is difficult. This is fun - more like ceili or dancing at an Irish wedding - something that people who can’t dance can do. Besides seems like it would be nice to work out to some Irish music.
The music is grand. The more people get to hear and move to an Irish fiddle, the better!

well maybe some …
well maybe some adults might not care about learning the proper steps, i mean after all they are very difficult to master. i think this is good for people who just love irish music and aren’t interested in learning all the “proper” difficult steps

I totally agree …
I totally agree with yoo. I just started taking Irish dance classes and they are definetly more aerobic than this….not to mention I get to learn to dance in the process. I’m having a lot of fun too!

I wish she used …
I wish she used more actual dance moves!!! I have about 50 drills that anybody can do that would be much more benificial than that “Irish cross”. The idea is great, but the execution is lacking. aw well. Irish dance can be the most aerobic activity apart from sprinting, and really anybody can do it. I hope this inspires people to get into a dance class and not just the gym.
