the "best" is the one you like. because u then follow it. a combo would of course be splendid. here is what my dietician recommends - follow a practical diet. Make sure your plate has this ratio - 50% veg, 25% carb, 25% protein. eat 900 gms of veggies a day. Start your meal with a big salad or soup. have a snack every three hours. fruit (ideally berries) or soy nuts. just 2 tablespoons of soya nuts subside hunger pangs . substitute white bread and rice with brown. lose one kilo a week. that is the ideal.
Pick an exercise regime you like. then you are likely to stick to it. buy a pedometer, and take 10,000 steps a day.

Aerobics is the best out the the two. Any exercise that gets your heart pumping will burn fat. Work out 5-6 days a week, incorporating cardio. If your a beginner, start with 10 min. and increase that time by five min each week. Just a side point for your health, its not healthy to lose that much weight in just four months. Its safe to lose, at the most, 2-3 pounds a week.

you must do yoga in first 2 months & aerobics for next 2 months.
to do yoga the best schedule is:
1. do 5-7 min. in morning & evening for few days.
2. after somedays u can increase the time to 10 min.

YOGA is basically for mental health and immune system it takes long long time and efforts to loose weight through yoga, although you can stabilize your weight doing yoga twice… once early morning and second time during evening..
AEROBICS does helps in reducing weight but it depends upon what regime you follow..
here is what you can do
Don't consider calories as a reason for weight gain.. CALORIES are essential.. calories can be distinguish between Good Calories and Bad Calories
Good Calories Produce Carbohydrates which our body uses to generate energy where as Bad Calories Produce fats which accumulate as gained weight in our body.
Exercising in Morning is Very Effective( between 6 to 9) as Body is Fresh after good Sleep. Morning exercise Helps in Development of Hormones, Improves Respiratory System, Improves digestion, Develops Immunity and many more Benefits.
Regime To Follow in Exercise is 1 hr.. 10 mins Brisk Walk, 10 mins Jogg, Some dips & Push Ups & Crunches, than do stair climbing its hard but very effective exercise.. climb upto 15 floors everyday its more efficient than walking straight, for eg: if you stay on 3rd floor than go down 3 floors and climb back 3 floors again go down 3 floors and climb back 3 floors (only count climbing and not going down) so this way you make it 6 floors of climbing up. take breaks as per your stamina. stress yourself but dont strain.
consist your diet with 2 eggs and milk and 2 bananas a day over junk food.
NOTE:- ANY KIND OF EXERCISE IS EFFECTIVE IF YOU ARE PUNCTUAL.. ANY SKIPS OR IRREGULAR PATTERN CAN RUIN YOUR EFFORTS. BE PUNCTUAL AND GO STEADY AND YOU WILL SURELY ACHIEVE YOUR TASK SOON.

Actually, you would benefit most by doing both.
The aerobics will help build new muscle more quickly, and will burn a lot of calories while doing it.
While yoga can also burn calories and build muscle if you are doing it properly (you must engage the muscles, it isn't just "stretching" as many people think!) the aerobics will do it a little faster. The benefit of doing the yoga is that it will also help you to be less sore after doing your aerobics, will help pull your body structure into proper form, you will gain better balance, and will experience more calm and peace of mind. It is also a wonderful strength builder.
A good aerobic workout will leave you exhausted, but a good yoga workout will leave you tired but energized at the same time. I highly suggest you give them both a try instead of settling on just one.
Also, make sure to drink plenty of water, at least 8 cups a day, to help flush toxins that are released as you burn fat.
Cut out foods that are low in nutrients and high in calories, and increase your fruit and vegetable servings to 5 to 9 per day.
A great website that can help you figure out a good exercise program and diet to help you lose weight and is completely free is http://www.sparkpeople.com, and it has forums full of people like you who don't know where to start, and those who know and are more than willing to help you out.
good luck!
