Anyone use exercise aerobics DVDs? What's you fave and which is most effective?

Looking for a new DVD as I've got a bit bored of mine.

I think the Joanna Hall and Rosemary Conley ones are great. Also got Nell McAndrew but find that a bit repetative. Just wondering what other ones people reccomend?

I don't want yoga or pilates or anything. Want proper cardio arobics DVDs.

Also, want ones that have shorter workouts (about 30 mins) or lots of little ones you can build up if you've got time.

Davina's most recent one is quite good, it has three 30 minute workouts, one is cardio, one is a bit like body combat (lots of kicking and punching) and one is core stability (no cardio but great for toning and giving you a full body workout). Good if you get bored cos you can do a different one depending what mood you're in. However, I find the cardio one difficult as there is not much space in my flat and she does lots of moving around.

For a tough workout I would go with her first DVD from last year although that is an hour long but very effective. I don't have the space problem with this one and it is split into three sections, bums, upper body and tums which you can separate out and do at different times if you want. The music for that one isn't really my cup of tea as it's a bit repetitive but all in all I would give it 4/5 as it is great for both weight loss and toning.

I downloaded a few aerobics videos. I like the Biggest Loser Workout. It's pretty neat because the DVD allows you to choose from a few different workouts, customize it so you can make the workout shorter or longer.

I've got a couple, I tend to get bored of them quickly. The most recent one I bought was Angela Griffin's. It's different types of dance that give you an aerobic workout.. but if you don't like dance then it's not for you!
It incorporates hip hop, salsa, and 2 more that I can't remember!

The best one I've used was TieBo, starting from number 2. They last 30 min, intensive work out, I love it.

Turbo Jam has got to be my favorite. It's a mixture of kick boxing, dancing, body sculpting and gives you a really good workout. Since it is a mixture of different types of exercise I find that I don't get bored. If a an realy not feeling well I skip the heavier aerobics and just work at sculpting my abs & butt.

It also worked pretty fast too.

Taebo!! It's my ultimate fav. In fact 5 years ago I started it and went from a size 11 to a size 6 in about 3 months. It's an intense cardio workout and it works your whole body which is why I think it is most effective.
Most of the workouts are around 30 minutes and they even have an 8 minute Taebo workout.

    Good luck in your search!

i have tried about 40 excercise videos/dvd and found that if you put 20 on each end of a metal ba,r you can use them as a lightweight dumbell, and thats about all they are good for, except rosemarie connelly ,you do get some good food suggestions from her.

Billy Blank's Tae Bo, this is so great and if you stick to it you will see the difference. On his Energise dvd there is also an 8 minute workout for when you don't have time and the sit up routine is very very good. I swear by this DVD or any of his others.

I Love doing my fitness training program in the afternoon . It gives me energy throughout the day. If my workouts were highly intense, I feel great all day long. Supplements are not really necessary with the proper fitness training program , really good nutrition program and the proper rest.
