Has anyone tried Carmen Electras aerobic striptease workout? I am thinking about getting the DVD.?

I was wondering if it was fun, a decent workout, and what music is played. Is it worth buying?
Hmmm….does nobody exercise at home?

Hi. I bought the box set about a week ago. I really like it!!! It's really fun, and it's different from all those other aerobic dvd's, It really keeps my attention. I don't recommend the first dvd. It's mostly stretches and warm-ups, so it's REALLY low impact and you won't see a lot of results from that one. I've been using the second dvd, it's a little more advanced and highly effective. I haven't used it long enough to tell you just how well it works, but I can tell you that when I do the workouts I feel it all over, not just in one section of my body.

The third dvd, is more of the strip tease workout, and the fourth is hip-hop dance and lap dance workouts. I haven't been brave enough to try those yet, they're even more advanced than the second disk.

As far as the music, it's a lil techno I guess. There's no words, it's not like the music on the radio. It has a really good beat though, and it keeps me going.

Overall I'd say the set or even just one of the dvd's is deffinately worth buying. I was paying $35 a month fora gymn membership that I never used. I payed $50 for this box set and I use it everyday. I highly recommend it!

How often should you drink water during 60 - 90 mins aerobic workout?

My instructor trains us for aerobic 'burn-outs' and says we need to be able to go as long as possible without drinking water. We have very intense workouts, but really enjoyable. Lots of party & soca music. Sometimes I go for a swim at the beach after as the salt water helps my muscles. So with the salt and the hot Caribbean sun, I'm thinking those water breaks are important, but I don't want to compromise my burn-out endurance.

Why does your instructor promote dehydration? The better hydrated you are, the better you will perform. You should sip as needed according to the rate at which you sweat. You're not a camel- your instructor is mistaken about the aerobic "burn-out" thing- it's not going to do you any good. In fact, it could be dangerous if you were to become severely dehydrated.

Does music sound slower after an aerobic workout?

Does this happen to you - my husband drives to a running trail listening to music. After his run he gets back in the car and the music sounds slower to him! This only happens after running, not if he is just doing errands. Do you have any idea what causes this?

OOHHHHH, we learned this in science class listen up (or read up) maybe this can give you some insight…or i could possibly wrong..i just thought of a connection…well maybe not…i was thinking of classical mechanics to general relativity…oh well..it sounded something like it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Time_dialation
Time dilation is the phenomenon whereby an observer finds that another's clock which is physically identical to their own is ticking at a slower rate as measured by their own clock. This is often taken to mean that time has "slowed down" for the other clock, but that is only true in the context of the observer's frame of reference. Locally, time is always passing at the same rate. The time dilation phenomenon applies to any process that manifests change over time.

-this sounds something like it?

but their not clocks…but i connected it through timing and speed.
